My day was a really good one and I always look forward to the week ends though my babysitter flaked on me for Sat so I wont be going to the studio :( but will get to on Sunday !!!! I did have a rockin' Friday though! I did my cardio on the elliptical before breakfast and had a good time. It went by pretty fast and I did well. I did not ROCK it out but faired well. (by the end of the week I do tend to get a little tired in my legs LOL) any way......... did one hour of a vigorous pace and varied speeds here and there and intervals near end.
After breakfast we heated up the sauna and walked around the small loop while we waited, then came back for our yoga session. K played in the pool while I did my thing, and we both had a great time!! After I climbed in too LOL and we played together. After lunch was nap and chill time. I walked on the treadmill and watched some shows and then off to Kaylees swimming lesson :) What a blast! She did so good, though after she was tired and came out all attitude. But all and all a very good day.

thursday bliss
WOW did I have a great day!!! I had a rockin' time in the sauna with perfect spot on conditions. My class was so strong and centered. I sweat right from get go but did NOT feel hot and like I was expending a lot of energy. Just yoga bliss (the way it is meant to be) Then after breakfast me and Kaylee went for a rollerblade around the geese park. I have a couple things to say here .... first rollerblading for me is really easy and does not get my heart rate going I count this as an easy recovery day. I LOVE LOVE it though because its time for me and Kaylee to talk and visit and I get to experience power and speed and wind in my hair... It feels like running used to feel to me. (running also never really did get my heart up) I usually do two big laps around in about 50 mins. Today though I ROCKED it and pounded out two big laps and one small lap in one hour!!! so I got in a whole extra lap!!! It was our day to volunteer at the YMCA so off we headed to playcare. I miss the little ones it is soooo much fun to have three kids hanging on me and ten more screaming in line LOL
time for home and nap and miss K was out like a light. We hit costco and walmart then stayed up late and watched Alice in Wonderland.... good day

it was a good day though I am still wondering what is the best schedule for me and my body. I've been playing around with so many things and they do all feel good but for diff reasons and I (obviously) cant do it ALL. LOL So I guess I will just keep playing and maybe that is what my body wants to do..... just play with diff things and not have a SET schedule???? here is kind of what I've been playing with
yoga early and cardio after breakfast (both at home and at the ymca)
cardio early and yoga after (both at home and at studio)
yoga early and heavy power lifting after breakfast
yoga early and circuit after breakfast
I've also varied the intensities of both cardio and yoga and the diff times based on how I was feeling and what was going on for me that day. wow so it is a lot think about and choose from .......... here is what I am thinking

tues cardio then yoga at studio and vibration weight training
wed cardio then yoga at home with k
thurs yoga then cardio and volunteer at ymca and vibration weight training

I had a good cardio session though and yes it was INTENSE !! I rocked it out and am def looking forward to an easy cardio day today, as I have done three HARD days in a row. My yoga too was very good and I am experimenting with the temps to find again what feels right in my body after such an intense work out... I want to sweat but dont want to feel HOT or intense in itself. I can handle ONE hard session a day not two (on a reg basis any way... once in a while I can do it) the down town studio is PERFECT in this regard and I am trying to sweat and still feel cool in my sauna as well. At the new studio it is just cool all around though I do glaze and get a mild to mod sweat going. Any way that is my beef and talk soon .

tuesday
well I had a really good day. I started off with my cardio and again rocked it out. I did one hour of hit on the elliptical and had a great time. I love the intervals because they seem to go by soooo much faster than just riding. When your doing intervals you think in terms of sets so in your head you have only 2 mins left or three mins ect rather than thinking about the whole 60 mins. I love it. i go usually in five min sets
the first five is warm up then .....
4.5 1 min mod
5.0 1 min vigorous
4.5 1 min mod
5.5 2 min all out
back down to 4.5 and repeat until you hit one hour then cool down. this is my work out.
then my sitter came and off to the studio I trotted. I was sooooo debating which studio to go to. I LOVE to sweat and I knew at my new studio I dont and at the old one I do. however I HATE the old studio. the vibe the smell and whole environment is just ugh. (plus I have to pay .. at the new studio I have membership) I ended up going to new studio and saving money. lol I had a great visit with great company and had a really nice class (though no REAL sweat :( ) OH WELL its more important to me to feel comfortable and practice YOGA. I feel like at the old studio your at a side show stage performance!!! The whole thing is very theatrical with micro phones and full of competitive people showing off. It is NOTHING like a 'yoga' class.
After class I came home for lunch and put Kaylee down for her nap. She is too funny LOL I told her after nap we were going to wash the van and clean it out ..... she got all excited and said ' get out!!! ' (she's three!) We had a GREAT time in the afternoon though. she was COVERED in soap bubbles and had a blast then off to the geese park for a good walk. She did awesome walking the whole thing and even wanted to stop at the park and try out every piece of exercise equipment. She IS growing up and so I decided to up her bed time (depending on nap schedule). She DID have a good nap so I let her stay up and again we had a good night together.

monday
yup its monday.... ugh I hate mondays LOL kidding! I had a great day. I have decided to nix my yoga in the morn for the most part and do it with Kaylee after breakfast. So I do my cardio before and yoga after. I made this change for a couple of reasons.
1 it feels better physically in this order.
2 I always felt a little nervous being in the hot room with Kaylee sleeping.
3 I love playing and being with her while doing my yoga and getting her involved.
however I want to still be able to sweat and this is difficult with her in the room !! I dont want her to get cooked LOL so... brilliant mother that I am I put a plastic bath in the room. I filled it with cold water and let her play with all her bath toys and keep cool while I sweated like a mad woman. She thought it was a blast and it killed her that I was wet too LOL she could not figure it out how I was getting wet!! but yes we did have a great time. she would climb in and out as she felt and just played and was comfortable.
My cardio session too kicked ass!! I nailed it and was so proud. I did an hour hit session burning 350 cals!!!! 50 more than I norm would doing cardio. yup I rock it out. It was a good day.
after all our workouts and showers and getting everything all cleaned up we went outside and splashed in some puddles and took her bike out for a bit. in the afternoon it was just cores and errands and home for dinner. talk soon

Sunday family day
I always love Sunday and Church is a big part of why I feel that way. I love going to church and dancing and celebrating and feeling and just being part of something so much bigger. I also love snuggling up with my girl and spending the special quality time together. This day was no exception... we had a really awesome time :) Then we hit walmart and did some shopping for our growing girl and the house. We came home for lunch and rather than nap we curled up on the couch and watched treehouse for a bit of quiet time. We baked some peanut butter bars then my sitter came over and I headed off to yoga. I hit the old studio because my reg studio had no sunday 4 class in the summer :( oh well.... I had a great class though I still stand by the feel of my reg place. I am so conflicted because I like the whole atmosphere and so many other good things about my studio. The only thing I like about the down town one is that I sweat more due to their steamer. Oh well...good class just HATE the smell in the hot room with the carpets and just how yuck it can feel (all sloowshy after class) gross ugh if only my reg studio would get brave and turn it up a bit...!!!

saturday in the pool
We had the best day!!!! I started with my low impact session in the sauna which is running up and down a step for one song then running on a mini-tramp using my arms for the second and switching off like that for one full hour. This routine is a lot of fun but is very intense and though I have done it more I find it works best when done once a week. I've adjusted my temps and humidity a little and now do this at 110 with a slightly higher humidity (same thing with my yoga ....... 112) I find it works better. Had a great go and felt awesome. According to my trusty heart rate gadget I burned 405 cals (keeping in mind the computer does not know I am sweating it only goes by heart rate and o2 intake) and it does not factor in the after burn either. It takes me a lot longer to recover from this than my elliptical which burns 300 cals in one hour.
After a good breakfast with my girl I went to the studio for my yoga. I had an AWESOME class :) and a great visit with all the girls. Came out on cloud nine
I came home and the first words out of my daughters mouth were "mommy I crying I no want go night nights" lol wich is soooo funny because I was thinking on the way home what a beautiful day it was and maybe skipping nap for a buggie ride before we hit the pool in the afternoon. So we walked to the store where she was allowed to pick one treat ( a giant three foot ice cream ) then hit the pool. We had the best time and i can not believe how brave she is getting!!!

Friday is here!!!!!
AHHH the week end approaches and I am so happy LOL My mom and DAn are camping and will be back on Sunday and I CAN NOT wait to talk to them and see them. I know its silly because its only been ten days but...... she's my mommy :)
I had a great day though too. I heated up the sauna for a yoga class and had WOW time. It was a great class with good focus strength and breath. I eased into deep postures and just flowed, very awesome.
After breakfast it was time for my workout. Kaylee and I headed downstairs to play. I did an intense session of cardio and powerplate moves. I rocked out an hour and half circuit and felt great. I did this workout a couple of days ago but today it really hit home now that I've done it once and have a feel for it. The afternoon and rest of the day were pretty normal chores errands playing reading and just being mom.

thursday bliss
yes it was an awesome day if not a strange one LOL I was invited to my old studio by my girlfriend who still attends there. I was apprehensive because of my experience there but she DID come to my studio for moksha yoga so fair is only fair.............. Also I was dying to see the people that I did connect with there and friendly old faces (just not the owners!!!!) and I heard they got this whole steamer thing I was wanting to try.
So I did my cardio in the morn and ROCKED and I do mean ROCKED out a hit session on the elliptical for an hour. After breakfast my sitter came and off I went. I was very excited and could not wait to see everyone though was a little nervous about how I would be received. I was welcomed warmly and yes the old faces was like going back in time and I missed it. however..... I am glad to be in my studio
the floors in this hotroom are carpet and sloosh after class (gross) mine are all cork and the whole studio is just more modern and cleaner.
here it was packed and impersonal and the teacher uses a microphone and it gives the class a cookie cutter and intense feel. my studio is warm and soft and very personal
finally my verdict on the conditions??????
cold and wet LOL though I did sweat a lot more there I was COLD like coming out of a pool. I wanted to STOP sweating because I found the whole thing just uncomfortable lol
I had a great class though and I am really glad I went
in the afternoon we went to the park to celebrate canada day and get our faces painted .... too fun and had a great time

Wednesday
Yup Its here midway week and looking forward to the weekend. I heated up the sauna for a good class which I felt like I had not done in FOREVER LOL I had been once to the studio but NOT the same as my sauna for sure. It was so unreal and OH how I missed it but a break was nice too. The conditions were spot on perfect I could not not have planned better. some times even if the general feeling of class is good there will be cool and hot spots but yesterday it was just ahhhhhhhhhh the whole thing through. It felt really good in my body and just like home. After breakfast with my girl we went downstairs to play and workout (we got her a mini set of weights LOL it is way too cute and she has her own little treadmill) I did a circuit type of routine with my power plate. I started with a 5 min cardio warm up then hit about 4 heavy heart pounding body using power moves then hit the elliptical for 5 mins of cardio and back again. I did this for about an hour and 20 mins including stretching after. It totally rocked~~ I love new stuff :)
We had a good day just running errands and doing chores ect. I think some baking is going to be on our schedule very soon as she keeps asking but have not had time to do.

Tuesday
OK so I did have a pretty good day yesterday with out having to kill anyone LOL I hit my elliptical for a rocking session! One hour HIT training and it was awesome. My new program I am designing is great and I cannot wait for you all to see it I will start it fully next week but think I have it in the bag so to speak. very cool. One of the things I have played with in the design is intensity of various things hardcore power weights and fluffy weights, HIT heart pounding cardio and easy flowing rides and HOT intense yoga and warm stretching type yoga. It was an enlightening couple of weeks and I learned a lot about what I enjoy and what works in my body the best ( and at diff times )
will keep you all posted.
We took Daddy to the air port yesterday to go tot work too and on top of getting my period combined with no sleep it a no brainer and understandable about why I would feel off. I had a GOOD heart to heart with hubby and do feel like our issue is resolved and everything is good. cant wait to talk more about my program but.... dont want to ruin the surprise lol

I am not too sure what to write today and hope this feeling inside of me goes away. I am tired and cranky and just want to feel like myself. I have not had enough sleep the last little bit with Molson and camping and a fight with hubby last night :( Just feeling very down and sick to my tummy with thinking about all the tension in the air UGH I HATE this and just want it all to be better and dont know how or when that will be. Looks like Im just gonna have to ride this one out.
I have taken the last few days off yoga and just had time to do my elliptical before our busy days started. Feels good and am rocking it out during my sessions but am missing my yoga for sure. Hoping to get to the studio today.

The week end and being outdoors
We were out camping and had a blast!!! took our new trailer out and loved it. The three of us had a great time (though NO sleep) and went on many hikes and scavenger hunts LOL Kaylee loved throwing rocks in the lake. I hit the elliptical on Saturday before we left and it felt AWESOME. Oh I so needed it :) Then just got packed up and left. Had a great day at the lake as I said and just chilled. Then came home yesterday EXHAUSTED ... was in bed at 930 lol
Today going to Kelowna and way too excited. going to hit my cardio before we go then its time to hit the road jack YEAH baby

last couple of days
well... the last couple of days have been hard but good. I have been missing my little guy (molson) and the house just feels SO empty. I am constantly reminded of him and keep expecting him to be here or go to let him out ect. I had to move his bed and kennel and empty out his food .... get all the dog stuff out. I've been doing well though.
I've been doing my regular thing and experimenting with my workouts. I thought I would take Kaylee to play care for my cardio one morn then after my workout put my volunteer time in. UGH I had a good time but as I was on the elliptical I could NOT wait to finish to go play with her!!! I missed her LOL I have not taken her in a long time and had gotten used to being with her. I had a great workout though and had a blast playing after. Yesterday was a good day too........... I did my sauna aerobics and rocked it out then took the day off yoga to get the house cleaning done. It was funny coming out of the shower after my work out realizing I WANTED to clean over yoga LOL having a clean house was more relaxing and would de stress me more than a class would!! If I had left it I would be all stressed trying to cram the chores in and feeling lazy having not gotten them done. I was right too!! AHHHHHHH it felt good. Then me and Kaylee went to the park and had a great time together.
Thats been my last few days pretty much in a nutshell. Dan and I headed out camping and then to Kelowna so looking forward to having the next few days of REST and chillin'. talk soon

yeah it was a rough day and eve.... we are putting our dog down today and though I have not been thinking about it too much (in denial) yesterday eve was hard as we stayed up late crying and talking and drinking LOL
The morn was good I went in the sauna and had a great class with PERFECT conditions. After breakfast Kaylee and I went downstairs and played and my cardio on the elliptical. I ROCKED it !!! Had a great session and followed it up with a about 20 mins of vibration training. The sun was shinning and I went for a bike ride while Kaylee was napping and Dan was puttering outside. Just a normal day then .... the time came to go to to bed and it just kind of all came out. Yeah today is going to SUCK.

Monday
yes it is monday and I of course being in the flux I am could NOT for the life of me decide what I wanted to today. Cold or hot, cardio first or yoga first AHHHHH at the gym or at home you see how my choices mount LOL Oh I know its SOOOO hard being me (wink) Its just that I've been pondering which path is best and playing around so I'm just testing some different waters to see what feels best and then will jump in and swim for a while before getting out to try a new pool for another bit. That is usually how I work anyway. Here was the verdict though.... cold cardio followed by the studio for a yoga class. So I popped on my elliptical before breakfast and had a great session. totally rock it out!! The studio was a blast too and I love going but again it was a cooler practice being at the studio. yes you heard me I decided to take a break from the heat LOL just seeing how it feels in my body to do things differently is all and so far I'm missing my heat in some places and not so much in others. Its not even so much the HEAT I miss as the sweat ..... so I think this is the lesson I will take home. That it does not need to be THAT hot...... we'll see what all comes out. I'm still experimenting. Its funny because whenever I go into a new environment I think oh THIS feels the best then I go into something else and go now THAT felt perfect..... woe is me.
I'll just keep trying new things and playing and it will come to me. It takes me about a week or two to find my new niche usually.

the week end :)
so yes the week end came and went and I am finding myself in the midst of a mid life crisis LOL I can not seem to figure this out and put into words but the best I can figure is that I'm feeling about having to put my dog down and that is making me face my own mortality. I'm feeling old slow and like I'm going soft (hardly the truth but......) there it is. I'm feeling like I've lost control of my body and what it can do and that no matter how hard I try I'll never catch up. Like I said I dont know where this came from because I have not gained suddenly or tried to do something and wasn't able ect it just.... boom was there. This feeling of ugh I'm old, and looking way back to my twenties and what I used to do. I'm at a cross roads around my routine and thinking a change needs to happen..... what though I am unsure of yet. I will keep you all posted as it comes into light and things unravel for me.

thursday bliss
I had a great day and wow !!!!!! I did my sauna aerobics in the morn and had a blast. I tried a new move on my step instead of running up and down and it got my heart up too. Then I had a nice breakfast with my girl and hubby and they headed out pick up some hardwood my parents had left over to do our bedrooms. In other words AHHHHH the morning to myself!!! I did not have enough time to get to the studio before class so just heated up the sauna for my yoga at home. I would usually have Kaylee with me and we hit the yoga together in the hot room VERY mildly heated. I put it to about 95 with no humidifiers running. It feels warm and keeps it safe to stretch but with out cooking her out LOL. Now don't get me wrong ..... I just got cooked by doing one hour of cardio in the sauna so my intent is not get another hot on but, just as I say keep it warm enough to be safe. With it just being me in the room though it allowed me to adjust it a bit and so I pumped it to 105 and turned on the humidity...... AWESOME. got a GOOD sweat on but not hot.
These are my stats by the way while we are on the topic of heat and conditions.......
bikram : 115 degrees and 65 % humidity throughout class. this temp stays pretty consistent
sauna cardio : I turn it on to 113 and let it cycle once at beginning of class then it turns off and the temp lowers through out the hour gradually as I get hotter from working .... by the end it is about 105 the humidity is the same at about 65 % - 70 % as the temp lowers
mid morn bikram : I turn it on to 100 let it cylce once then it shuts off and by end its about 95 the humidity runs about 45- 50%
so there you go........

The sun was a shining and it was gorgeous. Dan came home with Kaylee as I was making lunch and we all sat down together. Had a great afternoon and just ran some errands and spent time together.

wednesdays and planning for Daddy to come home :)
Yup he comes home tonight and I CAN NOT wait !!!! though it can be nerve racking at the thought I always love having him home. I say that because he is gone for two or three weeks at a time and I am used to it. I am used to my routines and planning around Kaylee and myself and looking after the two of us. I am also used to my quiet time and time to myself. Then I wake up and all of a sudden I have a whole new person to take of and consider. I LOVE him to bits and am always excited to have him and spend time together just the whole aspect of change can be stressful sometimes. Like I said just planning for and taking care of a whole new person.
I had a great day though yesterday and starting off in the sauna with my yoga class. I had a good sleep so I woke up refreshed and feeling good. Had a good practice and stayed present and clear. (though my standing bow left a bit to be desired) After a good breakfast Kaylee and I went downstairs to play and do my cardio. I did my usual hour on the elliptical and it was good.... nothing to write home about but pretty par. I got off dripping as per norm and after a shower we played and went for a walk to check the mail.
Then just time for lunch and nap and moving on with the rest of our day.
In the afternoon I got waxed and my hair done. I do love going to the salon and being pampered LOL I played with Kaylee in playcare for a bit then home time and dinner. Dans flight was delayed so I put Kaylee to bed rather than have her wait up and went on the treadmill and watched tv while I waited. He finally came home and we had a great visit and that as they say is that.....

Tuesday
I don't have too much to say ( I know that is weird for me ..... ) but I'm sure once I get warmed up it will start to flow. So I have this new schedule as I'm sure you have noticed and I am LOVING it. Today was my sauna aerobics and yoga /vibration training day. For the aerobics in the sauna I use my step and mini tramp. I alternate between running up and down on the step and jogging while doing front lat raises on the tramp. It is a killer work our and out of everything I do this one burns the most cals at a whopping 390-430 per session (keeping in mind this is bases on my weight and stats from my heart monitor and if I were to base it on ave stats and weight it be about 800 - 860) In a reg cardio session I burn about 260 - 300 cals and in a 90 min bikram yoga class its about 230-290. In a reg 90 min yoga class its about 130 and rollerblading and rowing break in at about 150 in one hour. So there is all the break down... I thought it was very int. and love playing with my toy LOL at any rate yes I had a great session. I was tired when I woke up and just did not sleep right but got going and finished strong. I was kicking myself though because when I first went in I realized I forgot to turn the fan on.....with no air circulating all the heat stays on the ceiling and the furnace does not kick in. It only took a few mins to get all back to norm though. After a long cool down and some breakfast Kaylee and I hit the hot room together for our yoga class. I LOVE doing yoga with her and we have such a blast. She loves hanging all over me and just spending the time together. I only turn it on to about 95 to keep it warm and safe while we stretch. Then after a bath and a change we are off to the park!! Had a great time on the swing and going down the slide (not to mention getting filthy in the rocks!!) then home time for lunch and nap. I rocked out a 30 min vibration session and am just still in awe I have a power plate in my house LOL LOVE it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the afternoon we went to get some blood work for me done and then bought some ingredients for a baking session. (rice crispy treats and peanut butter cookies.) Kaylee had a blast and loved eating it as fast as we could make it LOL.

Monday
It is that time again to start the week over and I am sure we were all hoping an extra sunday would just.... appear!! I am one of the sad ones too for on my day to sleep in I just could not seem to take full advantage. I did have a good day though yesterday and though the week end was over I did look forward to my workouts too. ( I know catch twenty two like rest but love to work out too ) any way...... I started off with my Bikram class in the sauna and had a very strange one LOL I could NOT stay on my feet? I just could not balance to save my life. Not sure if it was just not being focused or not trying hard enough??? There are lots of times when I have an off day and cant seem to balance and its usually one of two things, either I'm just not focused and concentrating on what I am doing or I am not contracting my muscles hard enough to stay in the pose (or too hard LOl its IS called balance WINK ) any way its all good. I was yes frustrated and went in a little tired so I was just ugh and cranky. Luckily though my blood got pumping and I felt better and the balancing series ended and the class continued. I finished and got ready for breakfast with my girl. After we went downstairs and played and I rode my elliptical. I had a killer time!!!!! When the guys set up my power plate I got them to tune up the treadmill and my elliptical so it was running in tip top shape and was WOW. (ps I have been on my power plate NON stop and love it) After my workout we went upstairs for a bath and had a great time splashing each other. Kaylee just thought it was a hoot my being in with her. We got all dried and dressed and finished the touches with a little make up (shes a girly girl) It is now time to move on to chores and housework UGH We got it all done though and moved on with lunch and naps. I had to got to the doc in the afternoon for my injection and results. I had a cancerous mole on my leg and we had to see what stage and how for in it has grown ect... everything is fine though WHEW we then hit the store for some supplies and that my dear is it!!! my day in a nut shell dinner treadmill chat with hubby popcorn and down time AHHHH

ahh a sunday :)
I LOVE my Sundays for so many reasons ....... sleeping in, cuddling with my girl at church and our walk at the Geese Park just to name a few. Its my day of rest and treats and to just relax in being with family. So I had a lot of fun!! I woke up sore form my power plate work out LOL and that was awesome. I do love it when you FEEL a good work out. I went for a light walk on the treadmill and just relaxed before breakfast and church. Kaylee was all cuddly and we had a great time singing and dancing and just being together. We saw a friend we haven't seen in a long time and played catch up. She met us for our walk and I had a great time visiting and chatting. Kaylee thought she was such a big girl to be having girl talk with the ladies!!! After that all afternoon she pretended her play kitchen was Starbucks and she was meeting our friend there LOL We had lunch and nap and just chilled. The babysitter came and it was time for me to hit the studio. I had THE best class!!! I just relaxed and breathed and took it super easy with the goal in mind to just move and relax.... YOGA The studio too was nice and juicy so I did get a good sweat on NICE. I left on cloud nine. That is pretty much it just a regular day and a lot of fun

Saturday and wow
Ok so its Saturday and I was feeling good and had an awesome day!!! I did my low impact aerobics in the morning and had a blast. I def had NO problems getting my heart rate up and going :) and according to my trusty little monitor burned 434 cals in one hour. (again keeping in mind my weight is only 70 lbs and I'm 4'6) I did rock it out though. After breakfast my baby sitter came and I went to yoga. I had such a great class and time WOW!! I love going to the studio but I do miss my girl when I'm gone for the two plus hours. Any way just had a blast and enjoy the fellowship with other yogis. I actually even got a good sweat going near the end :)
Came home for lunch and nothing beats it when I hear the MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY when I walk through the door as she starts talking a mile a min to tell me all about her morn.... she is so cute. We ate then it was time for nap and some quite time for me in gym downstairs. I walked on the treadmill and played on my new toy ( the power plate ) and had a great work out. I did tons of exercises on it and tried all kinds of new stuff I saw on various downloaded videos. PS ..... I'm sore this morn LOL I worked out for about 25- 30 min on it and as i said WOW do I hurt now!!
Then it was time to wake miss up and get on with our afternoon and I could not wait. I had a big surprise and was planning on taking Kaylee to the water park. We splashed and ran through sprinklers and played all over the jungle gym. Had a great time and then donated some money for cancer and participated in the walk for the cure!! We parked our buggy off to the side and we both walked a few laps for the cause. What a great day... home for dinner and usual nightly routine of treadmill, talk with hubby and popcorn

Friday is here!!!!!
I did have a very exciting an eventful day..... I did my yoga class in the sauna before breakfast and had a great one!!! I was focused and strong and determined. After we had our breakfast (and our first time out for the day) we headed downstairs to play and do my cardio. I did one hour on the elliptical and it was awesome. I love doing cardio:) Then my new toy arrived............ a power plate! I was (and am) WAY too excited about this LOL I played on it all afternoon and Kaylee too thinks its a blast. The rest of the day was pretty much par for the course with groceries and errands ect. We had a good rest of the day with out getting into too much trouble LOL You HAVE To check out the whole power plate thing .... google it if you want more info. IT ROCKS

Thursdays
Well we did have a great day and I'm very proud of myself but more important my girl!!! I've been struggling lately with Mom guilt and feelings of doubt around my ability as a mom. Wondering if I was being really THERE for her if she felt that. I want to be the closest person to my daughter and have an unshakable bond. She is adopted and so this issue always crosses my mind. Does she really feel like I'm MOM or just another caregiver? I know in my heart she is bonded with me and she has here with us since Nov a year and a half ago. This issues are all my stuff and insecurities and I just need to deal with them. I also however have to ask why am I feeling this way and what can I do to change it .......... I was feeling guilty about not spending enough time with her and leaving her at playcare/babysitters /and grandmas. I was getting a sense of drawing back from her (in my eyes) and was concerned. So the answer is and was to spend more time LOL not leave her with other people (as much) and PLAY !!!!!!!!!! This week we have stayed home and not gone to play care and it has been really good for both of us. I took her there only two times in the afternoon for very short periods and we have had so much fun.

I again did more sets on the step keeping my heart up a little longer and burned 400 cals on the button (again I'm 70 lbs so double that burn for a person of average weight)
Kaylee and I had a good breakfast and morn together and my heart melted as she came up to give me a big hug and said love you just.... out of the blue LOL (insert love sigh here) She too was so excited when I told her we were going to the yoga room to do our yoga together. We had a really fun class and this time I brought her walker in to balance on and play with. She tried some of the poses, climbed on me for others and played for parts of the class too. We had a good time though. We had a bath and got dressed then went downstairs to play before lunch. I made a few calls and talked to hubby for a min while she played then I went over and we colored some pics together. Then time for lunch and nap.......... AHHHHHHHHH (kidding lol)
In the afternoon we went and worked at playcare ( I volunteer there ) When I told her she asked mommy play too??!! I said yes and she got all excited. We had fun and played and read and cleaned up and then I did a quick 20 mins of vibration training. I went back to get her hit the store and then home for dinner.
That was my day in nut shell. Dinner, bed for miss mew and a walk on the treadmill while talking to hubby followed by my nightly bowl of popcorn and tv HEHE good time and good talk

Wednesday and too many time outs to count LOL
Well yes we had a rough day yesterday.... my girl was tired and full of attitude :) I had a really good yoga class in the sauna, very relaxing and easy. My heart rate stayed low and I burned 210 in that class which is on the low side. It was refreshing and great though and as always felt good. After class I came up stairs and got ready for breakfast. I checked on Kaylee and she was still asleep!!!!! (I heard her still up very late and I don't think she fell asleep until around 930 1000) So I ate then went to go look in again ...... she was up. I got her some cereal and milk in her sippy and we headed downstairs. I let her watch treehouse while she munched and I rode my elliptical. I went for one hour at a mod pace keeping my heart rate in the high 130's to 140's. Kaylee had a blast as I NEVER put on the TV except as a special treat. After I was done we played playdough for a bit then got cleaned up and dressed for the day. We had the basement chores to do so we cleaned house and did some laundry. Kaylee was all attitude all morn and I could tell she was still very tired. The last little bit has all been about possesion thats MY puppy thats MY ball MY cup ect...... well I've explained that yes that is her cup but we share our things. No change and the attitude had been getting worst and grabby ........ time to put this on cabosh!!! The last few days when I've heard her talk like this I take the thing away and tell her its not polite or acceptable to talk like that. Well apparently this morn she decided that she owned EVERYTHING and lets just say her bottom and the time out chair were kept warm LOL
I was feeling out of sorts myself and not sure what was up with that???!!!! but we got through the day and yes even still had a lot of fun and good cuddles and loves.

tuesday and a girls day in the hot room!!!!
I had an awesome day and was so proud of my girl :) I did my sauna low impact aerobics in the morning before breakfast and had a killer time. I did more sets on the step this time which meant a higher heart rate and it was so good. I recovered quickly and had a lot of fun ... the way a workout should be. After breakfast I surprised Kaylee with a special trip into mommy's yoga room. she thought it was too fun and even got her very own mat. I was not sure what to expect from a three year old as they often make up their own rules LOL So I went in with an open mind and no expectations. I only had the sauna on to body temp and did not use the humidifier so it was like warm summer day, very warm but not HOT. She tried some of the poses and climbed all over me and was full of giggles. My fav part was toe stand when she leapt into my arms and we both toppled over in a fit of giggles. She LOVED the floor series with the savasana and sit ups:) any way we just had a blast. Then we walked to the park and played on the swing and went down the slide ect then time for lunch and nap.
In the afternoon I had a physio appt and Kaylee played at playcare. After my appt I did a quick 20 mins vibration training and then home for dinner. That was that as they say...... jammies story and bedtime a typical night here. I walked on the treadmill and talked to Dan followed by my popcorn TV ritual before bed.

mondays and my girl is HOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really can not stand to be away from her for very long and it even drives me nuts when she is at playcare LOL I just miss her and think about her and the thought of someone else taking care of her is really hard for me. I missed the whole baby bonding experience with her and a lot of people take that for granted and think I'm being selfish and overprotective of her. (maybe I am) The point though is that because she was adopted the bonding experience is different. Its hard to explain but what I fear when I see her close to someone else and giving then affection (even though that is TOTALLY normal and necessary for development) I cringe and wonder if she feels like that towards me......... like I am just another caregiver. I want her to have a bond and strength with me like no one else ( I AM her MOMMY !!!! ) any way,,,,, thats my mom beef for the day. So I've made a decision that I am going to cut way back on leaving her at playcare and grandma interaction. I think playcare almost everyday and babysitters on weekends is too much and it was starting to show in her acting out. She was getting angry at me and being funny. So from no on I am going to do most of my workouts from home and take her to playcare for shorter periods and less often. THIS should be interesting LOL

Saturday and all by myself.........
Its def weird having miss mew at Grandmas and being here all alone.... The longest I have had to myself is one night and only once (it was a long time ago) Kaylee DOES go to for overnights when Dan and I have our date nights but again its only one night and I'm with my hubby. It is strange and quiet and I miss her yet I am having a great time not having to think about things and just do. I dont have to worry about another persons wants needs and feelings which can be very liberating. I've forgotten what that is like!!!
I had a great day though. I did my low impact aerobics in the sauna and then hit the studio for the 10 am class. The sauna session was awesome and I did great. I did the whole 60 mins alternating between running up and down on the step and running on the mini tramp. It was the bomb LOL I've done this now three times and the first time I had to break at the 40 min mark.... the second I lasted but it was intense and this time was easier. I'll have to kick it up LOL
Then time for class.... very peaceful I had a great time and awesome class. I came home had lunch and tried to get the back mowed. Operative word being tried :) I got about a third done when it dies on me (grass too wet and thick!) So I let it chill out and I went for a walk. Then I had to go teach mommy and me yoga so off I went. I got there and of course people forgot it was a nice day ect so only one mom came... I'm canceling it. I'm sad about it but........
I got a starbucks and went to go play on my new powerplate!!!!! We are trading in out home gym for a m5 power plate and I'm way too excited. I'm not getting it for another week or so so I had to go tinker and play LOL Then OK time to work I went home and unplugged the mower for round two and got it all done. That was pretty much my day...... I had a hot bath to relax made dinner had a drink and watched tv walking on the treadmill and having a good talk with hubby.

yeah its friday!!!!
I had a really good day yesterday but not too much to say about it LOL I had a really good class in the morn and all was awesome. It was a relaxing class and all just flowed ahhhhhhhh. Then after breakfast we hit the gym. I did 60 mins of mod intensity on the elliptical and felt good but it was weird. The machine I usually go on was taken so I had to hit a diff one and wow did it feel diff LOL It was much harder to use and felt awkward at first. I did it though and went the whole hour with out dying or giving up just because it was not what I was used to. I got off and felt great and then did my weights. I did 20 mins of vibration training with about 10 15 mins of pull ups and other multi joint moves. Then it was home for nap and packing to go to grandmas. We met grandma at the vets office and Kaylee gave molson a big hug :)
UGH I miss her already. The vet said that molsons liver is failing :( not sure what we are going to do as he seems to be OK now but.....

Thursdays
I had a good day full of fresh air yesterday!!! My class was awesome and the conditions were perfect. I am still wearing my new toy (my heart rate monitor) with the different activities I do and finding it very interesting......... After breakfast Kaylee and I hit the gym and I had a hard time deciding what to do for my cardio. I was going to stay home but knew I did not want to elliptical and was leaning towards a good rollerblade. So I packed up and headed out but the weather was iffy and I was unsure so we hit the gym... I rowed and for about ten mins then thought I would do an incline power walk. After another ten mins knew rowing was where I wanted to be so I went back ( I know ) I was rowing but kept longing for outside as the sun was coming out more and more. So I rowed for another twenty mins then packed Kaylee up and headed for the geese park rollerblade (whew) I rollerbladed twice around the big loop which is about an hour. It felt awesome and I'm so glad we went. I needed an easy day and wanted to relax with my workout. According to my heart rate monitor rowing gets my heart up to about 100, incline 10 % and 3.0 mph on the treadmill gets it up to 115 and rollerblades just under 100. I find rowing swimming and roller blading about equally as challenging and was pretty much right on the money. I find them hard in a diff way than the elliptical because though the elliptical gets my heart up up it does not require as much power, coordination, or whole body muscle work.
The day was nice and it was supposed to be the ONLY one so I was bound to mowing the lawn after lunch. Molson (our dog) had a huge seizure so I was really worried and feeling really conflicted about what to do. I called the vet and got him in for the next afternoon. I was just all over the place yesterday. After I mowed the lawn I came inside and made some calls about Molson, then got Kaylee up and ready to head out. I had an appt and errands to run. All day I could just not make a decision and was feeling quite all over the place. I was confused in my head and emotions. We were done earlt then faced with well what to do know??? We could go to the library, go home and play, head to walmart and pick up our pics...... the choices were endless. Kaylee of course wanted to do everything LOL We ended up going to get our pics then headed home. I gave her a shower cut and painted her nails and got ready for dinner.

I had a day yesterday UGH...... ( just THAT time if you know...) and was pretty sensitive. Everything started out OK and I had a great class in the sauna. It was a pretty typical class .... nothing to get all hyped up about. I had a really good standing head to knee yet faltered in bow. After breakfast we headed to the gym where I did my cardio and hit one hour on the elliptical. I had a strong session and a great time. I then did 30 mins of vibration training using weights as an added feature. It was awesome..... I LOVE vibration training.
We went home for some lunch and nap ect... pretty typical. What was NOT typical though was ME LOL I was just feeling frustrated all day. I was tired and cranky and everything seemed to be piling up. It was POURING rain and trying to run errands and get my injection when nothing was ready and people were calling and just AHHHH finally home and dinner and down time. So I had an interesting day and here goes...... I heated up the sauna for some low impact aerobics and KICKED it !!! I did one hour and alternated between running up and down step for one song and running on the trampoline for one song. Let me tell you.... it was INTENSE LOL but awesome. The last time I did this I had to take a break about 40 mins in to refill water and cool down for a sec. This time I did the WHOLE 60 mins and did not feel like dying. I have been wearing my heart monitor and heres the scoop......

thats the skinny (no pun intended) after the sauna and breakfast we hit the gym so I could do my yoga while Kaylee was in playcare. I went into the pool area where it is the warmest and moistest and laid out my mat. It was very interesting to do it in public and silent. (with no cues or tapes) but I had a great relaxing time and let me tell you after my morn session.... I NEEDED it !!!!! Then I hit the vibration machine for 20 mins and too had a blast. We came home had lunch, naps and cleaned up a bit. Then when Kaylee woke up we went to go see my great aunt and walked around the geese park.
That was pretty much my day.... dinner walk and chat with hubby popcorn and tv ect pretty much par for the course.

thats the skinny (no pun intended) after the sauna and breakfast we hit the gym so I could do my yoga while Kaylee was in playcare. I went into the pool area where it is the warmest and moistest and laid out my mat. It was very interesting to do it in public and silent. (with no cues or tapes) but I had a great relaxing time and let me tell you after my morn session.... I NEEDED it !!!!! Then I hit the vibration machine for 20 mins and too had a blast. We came home had lunch, naps and cleaned up a bit. Then when Kaylee woke up we went to go see my great aunt and walked around the geese park.
That was pretty much my day.... dinner walk and chat with hubby popcorn and tv ect pretty much par for the course.

Monday
Well I do have a lot to fill you in on as far as my new schedule goes and what the verdict on my new heart rate monitor is!!!! I heated up the sauna and did my class wearing my new toy :) I had a great class with perfect conditions and all was well. Though I did wobble a bit in the balancing series, I still rocked it out. I had an average class as far as intensity goes and according to my heart rate monitor I burned 271 cal (keeping in mind I am half the average persons weight at a resounding 73 lbs) my average heart rate was 118 and max was 163. Then after breakfast we dropped Molson off to get groomed and then hit the gym. I did one hour of mod intensity cardio on the elliptical and the verdict is................. 299 cal average heart rate 144 and max 163. So there you have it yes Bikram yoga is very similar to one hour of a vigorous cardio workout !!!! HMMM sometimes you CAN trust the internet LOL .
After the gym we picked Molson up and came home for lunch nap and chores.... pretty typical day here. We had to go to the doctors and hit the grocery store and just reg stuff. I have a new routine so will keep you posted ( and of the results on my new toy )

Sunday Sunday Sunday
I LOVE a good Sunday!!! A day to rest chill and just have fun thinking about(and being with) family and friends. My Mom and Dad came over early in the morning to set up for a garage sale at our house. I went for a nice easy walk then got my girl up and ready to go for the day. We had a good breakfast then I headed to the studio for a class while mom and dad watched Kaylee. I had a great class and just took it easy and relaxed into the poses. I was just in the zone, very flowing and meditative. I did not push or strain but just ....... AHHHHHHH. I came home and got lunch for me and Kaylee then put her down for nap. She has picked up a new saying the last few days ' Don't want to mommy' UGH LOL
I went for a walk and checked out the rest of the sales but did not see a thing. :( In the afternoon on a whim I decided to take miss mew to see a movie and we had a blast! She was beside herself with excitement and just jaw dropped the whole time !!!

Saturday and wow
I did have a fabulous day though even if Kaylee was bounding off the wall!!! She was way too funny and I just hope she gets a good sleep so she can calm down LOL I had an unreal HIT session on the elliptical before breakfast and then hit the studio for my yoga. I did one hour of high intervals and was SOAKED in sweat!!! I have been like a greasy monkey lately during my workouts which I love and is a good thing!! It means that my body is functioning at its best and that its not hanging on to anything. People who are well hydrated with an efficient, fit heart and cooling system (not to mention a good metabolism and healthy fats in their blood) will sweat buckets. Their body works well to keep it cool and lets go of it all because it knows you will feed it and is not afraid. I felt great was strong and recovered really quickly. Then on to the studio for my yoga..... Kaylee was all BYE mom !!! She had def gotten over her crying when mom leaves phase (bitter sweet LOL)

Friday is here!!!!!
YEAH !!!! I had a great week and even a better day. I was much calmer and feeling more like myself again. I felt like doing something different so thought I would hit some low impact in the sauna and then do my yoga at the gym.... ( I would normally sweat yoga and cool cardio but thought I would mix it up) the gym also has a sauna and the pool area is warm and moist. (you just dont want to be cold is the key) So I moved the mini tramp in and got my step set up and went to town wearing my new heart monitor. I did intervals of running on the step and jumping jacks on the tramp. It was AWESOME!!! I had a blast and came out feeling great. My heart rate was showing me I was doing intense work raging from 150's to high 170's. I kept the environment safe and stepped out at the 40 mark for a min to cool and refill my water. I recovered very well and did not feel any effects ect. After breakfast we hit the gym with my yoga gear in tow. I asked front desk of the sauna temp and she aid 104 ... I was like OH thats nothing I'll hit the sauna. I have been in it before and remember it feeling very cool esp on the floor. .................. OH SO NOT THE CASE LOL I died :) It was way too hot and I ended up leaving after the standing series to finish the floor series in the pool area. Even leaving when I did it was too much (it was 80 c and a norm temp would be like 41-43 c) combined with my heat exposure already in the morn.......
I again did not get sick or anything just felt it in my body that it was too much chemical stress. Next time I will be hitting the pool area!!!!!!!!
Kaylee and I had a great day after. Though TONS of errands and arranging for a new acct to be open and switched over AHHH I hate finances and appts. We did get home though in time to play her fav game before dinner :)

Thursdays
I had a really good day and ran a really cool experiment with a new toy ...... a heart rate monitor!!! I wore it during my yoga and during my cardio to see what my body was doing. Now it WILL be a little different than what is actually going on because calories is NOT just based on heart rate but oxygen and lung capacity as well as what is going on chemically (in the heat). I don't trust the number of calories to be right but wanted an idea of heart rate and differences between the two. My heart rate in my sauna doing the yoga was on average about 110 with going up to 130 140 and a few times even in the 150's though did get below 100 on a few occasions as well. My heart rate during my cardio was high 130's to high 150's for one hour. It was pretty cool to see what my heart was doing in class!!!
I had a really good one too!! The humidifier was back up and running which was really nice and I just had an awesome class.

Wednesday
Well I had a good day though busy and so I do have bit to say. I have been feeling pretty stressed out lately and though I have no idea what it is about I'm trying to deal and stay calm. I've just been feeling very anxious and cranky. Something MUST be going on that is yet be revealed and perhaps even in the hot room it will come to me LOL that IS where I get my best ideas.
I had a really good class even though I had a tech difficulty and no humidifier :( I did manage to get it up just from the water on the rocks and all was OK. I had unreal focus with a great balancing series. I did get right in my zen ........
I had a billion and one things to do including the house cleaning after the whirlwind of Danny and Kaylees Bday party weekend. We decided to stay home and ride the elliptical to get more done in the house. I had a good session and just did an endurance run for an hour. I've revamped my routine a little so you will see some changes........ I'm doing endurance cardio for one hour 5 days with one day of HIT and 3 days of 20 mins vibration and about 20 mins of powerlifts.
After I was done on the elliptical we did our chores and cleaned house. I had a hard day trying to stay relaxed and focused...... I was just UGHHHH and annoyed by EVERYTHING. (I need to relax) anyway after lunch hit town for a whole bunch of errands and took care of more business. That was pretty much my day AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH hopefully my body will calm down!!!!!

Tuesday and goodbye
Well I had a great but strange day. Danny was not leaving until late in the afternoon so we were able to have some time together and I was able to get one last studio day in!! So now the question on my mind was what did I want to do for my pre breakfast cardio? .......... I was getting tired and overtrained on the elliptical and decided to hit my low impact step in the sauna instead. I was a little nervous just because it had been a LONG time since I had done it but went for it :) It felt good was really intense and I lasted the full hour though at 40 mins I opened the door. To make it the whole way I HAD to, there was NO way. I recovered very quickly with no after UGH and moved on with the morning rush to get out the door for the 9 am class. Dan took off tot he dump and came back in the nick of time....... off and running. I made it just as she was lock ing the door WHEW and got in. class was SO good. It took a min to get in the moment and let my body catch up with my brain LOL It was a hot class and I actually got a good sweat going !!! (the studio is always cool for me) but this time it was AWESOME. After class I still had the morning to myself.......... I grabbed my snack and did 20 mins vibration and about 25 mins of power lifts then made it home to get lunch for everyone.
We had a ton of errands to do before the airport and the afternoon was a whirlwind to say the least but we got him off and running:( I dont mind saying I was pretty wound up from all the activity and was just cranky on mach 10 all day.

Monday after the weekend
I still had company but thank goodness they are sleeper-iners lol I was still able to hit the sauna and the elliptical. So sorry I have not posted but have been busy with my girls party!!!
We had a BLAST!! Just a great weekend.
Saturday the party was not until 2:00 and company was not coming until just before so I had an opportunity to hit the studio!!! It was the moksha yoga, they had a different instructor than the last time and she was FABULOUS. I met my girlfriend whom I had not seen a long time there and we had a good visit and class together. I do really like the moksha though I have to admit as relaxing and wonderful as it is .... there is nothing like the bikram series. So my I did have a busy morning hitting the elliptical before breakfast and then going to the studio. I got home did lunch, got miss mew ready in her costume and off we headed.
Sunday I took a day of rest and just had a nice visit with my hubby and a light walk before breakfast then just hung out with my in-laws and had a BBQ at my parents house with my sister and parents as well as Danny's mom and dad. We had a great time though I was really CRANKY!! I dont know what it was about but........... I was just wound up. I DID have a belly ache off and on all day and (in-laws) and social settings can make me nervous.
Monday I was up at my usual 5:30 and heated the sauna for a class. OH did I need it LOL and wow was it awesome. Also because I did the moksha on Saturday I was craving my bikram fix!!! After breakfast Kaylee and I headed downstairs to play and wait for everyone to get up and ready to go. I rode the elliptical for an hour at a mod pace for an endurance session and felt great. Everyone packed up we all said goodbye and then Danny and I moved on with cleaning house. We rounded up all our junk going from room to room and going through old toys ect. feels good to get rid of it all !!!

fridays!!!!!!
I had a very busy day but a really good one too. I started off in the sauna and did my yoga. I had a wonderful class though faltered a bit in my balance LOL I just love how the yoga gets me ready for the day and how it makes me feel :) I made some minor adjustments to the heat and it was awesome... the conditions were spot on and I left going WOW. After class we all had breakfast then Kaylee and I took off to go for a rollerblade then to the gym (giving Daddy some quiet time) We had a great time and a great workout. I went for about an hour then hit the gym for my weights. I did about 45 mins of power lifts and multi joint exercises followed by 10 mins of vibration. I was DONE LOL but it was great.
After lunch was nap and mom and dad time (wink) then we took off to run some errands and look at TVs ...... we ended up getting a new big one for upstairs and bringing our old big screen into my gym!!! sweet

Thursday lights camera action !!!!
What to talk about.....? Well I guess I'll just start and see where it goes LOL Because I was going to the studio for class I did my cardio session before breakfast. HOLY CRAP was I soaked :) I do love to sweat and wow did this work out give it to me !!! I did my intervals for one hour and every time am amazed and the increase in strength I show. I can go harder faster longer and every time I step on I discover something new I can do. NICE
Then it was time to get ready and head for class. Today was the big day of the commercial and I had NO idea what to expect. I was thinking that we would be film class but it did not work out like that....... we did class then after filmed a mini class with myself and staff. I was thinking that lots of people were going to be in the commercial too but......... wow it was intimidating but fun. I had to do take after take of poses for the camera and a testimony.
Then home time. We had a TON of errands planed and so much to do a busy day for sure.

wednesdays and planning for Daddy to come home :)
I had a great day and a great class. I was ON baby LOL I flowed and was so strong and had a really good balancing series with a deep floor series. SO good. I just blocked it all out at focused on each pose. Sometimes even if I'm focused on class I thinking ahead and not really IN the moment or feeling whats going on in my body.
After breakfast we hit the gym for my cardio and playcare. I did an endurance session and had a very meditative time. I like endurance because your not watching the clock and can just float away........plus power is NOT my strong suit which is why intervals and my power day are so important. I am a marathoner all the way and NOT a strong sprinter!!
Kaylee and I had a great day together too. I went up to geet up her and she came running into my arms (I love that) then home for play lunch and nap. I did some chores and went for a walk on the treadmill and then when she woke up we hit the library and did some crafts puzzles and read books TOO fun !!!!!!!!!!
Dan came home after dinner and Kaylee and I watched Alvin and Chipmuncks 2 while we waited for him to walk in the door. I love watching the two of them play they are so cute :) then just off to bed and Dan and I had a good visit.

tuesday
not too sure what to say about yesterday..... pretty average day. I again was debating about switching up my routine but decided to stick with the challenge routine until I get some inspiration. I had a really good class and felt really on. I just flowed through the poses and was in the zone. I had a good balancing series that felt really strong. I just feel so good when I am in class and when I come out. Then it was off to the gym and my weight session. Kaylee was so funny this morning and I got my first 'but mom everyone else is!!!' LOL it starts I had a really good but draining session and was DONE when I finished. I really pushed it and cranked it up. AWESOME but whew!! I added some more things to my routine and keep ramping up my intensity. Then it was home for lunch, chores and nap. We went to visit my Great Aunt and volunteered at playcare in the afternoon then just home for dinner. Kaylee was on fire all day LOL just ramped right up and I dont think she slept AT ALL during nap. She gets punch drunk and just wild. I was at my wits end by bed time let me tell you. Tired and just UGH. I had a good talk with Dan as we dreamed about out vacation. I even went and tried on my bikini !!!!

monday and back at it
I have been thinking about what to do and where to go with my practice now that my challenge is over. I did turn on the sauna to hit a class and even though I had only taken one day off it felt really good to be back LOL. I felt strong and relaxed and just good. I had a really good balancing series and by the time class was done I was all AHHHHH. After breakfast we stayed home and I did my session on my elliptical here. One hour of intense HIT training which rocked. I could not believe how far I've come. After that we just did our chores and hung out. We took Kaylee's new bike out and explored outside for a bit before lunch and a nap. It was then off to the doctor for my injection and some errands. I had a good talk with hubby and just a relaxing rest of the day. I felt good and had calmed down a bit. I did not feel so strung out yesterday, which was good.

Took a day off!!!! AHHH Sunday
I had been thinking about where to go from here and frankly still am. Now that my challenge is done I really don't know what to do with myself LOL do I keep going the way things are or do I do a total revamp? Right now I'm just going with the flow and pondering .... it will come to me. I WAS going to go the studio yesterday but my babysitter conked out and as I was getting tired and cranky thought it was a good sign to just take a day and rest. I do feel much better this morning!!!! I just did some light walking throughout the day and spent it with my girl. We went to church and the geese park then after lunch and nap we picked up a new bike and got our pics redone. ( I felt the others were missing something??!!) That was pretty much our day..... just relaxing.

Saturday and I'm thinking that I'm finished but..............
I had a great class and good start when the day quickly turned LOL. I had a good cardio session in the morning on my elliptical. I did an hour long mod intensity and felt really good. I was a little tired when I woke up and NO did not get the best sleep but as soon as I got going I was good to go. I was and am amazed at how far I've come and what I can do. When I started I would interval between 3.5 or 4 and 4.8 and steady pace at around 4.0 and bump it up to 4.5 for the last 20 or so. Well now I interval at 4.0 to 5.5 and steady paced at 4.5 !!!!! WOW anyway just had a good work out and got ready for the studio. LOL Kaylee is DEF over her mommy only phase !!!! She was all bye mom goin' to play now!!

They are filming a commercial and asked me to be in it :) I'll let you know how it goes..... filming on thurs.

I felt hurt and frustrated because I was trying to have fun with her and felt like I was a bad guy. We had a bath to cool off and then went outside to play battle ball (she norm LOVES this one) which again turned into about three point five seconds before she got frustrated and threw her stick down to do something else.

Friday and my girls birthday
It was my daughters birthday yesterday. We are having a party for her next weekend when Daddy is home :) but we still had a very special day. I sang happy birthday and woke her up with a vengeance LOL I had a good class though I was tired when I woke up. I've decided not to take my hormones until I see the specialist due to some funny symptoms like cramping, gas and trouble sleeping.... (I usually fall asleep fine but wake up often and early) I always feel better when I'm done my yoga and full of gusto. I had a really good standing series and good focus. The room has felt hot to me the last few days for some reason (maybe the hormone pills?) but it was a good class with good focus and calmness. After breakfast with my girl we hit play care and I did my weights. I had an awesome session doing a full hour of super setting power moves and multi joint exercises. I was DONE LOL but it felt great. I love finishing a session and going WHEW !!!! I worked :) I finished up with 20 mins of vibration training and a walk outside in the sun for a few mins. We came home and had lunch thinking about how to spend the day with my girl. Then I heard the most horrible scream from the dog before he got sick and had diarrhea all over so my day was decided for me..... cleaning and looking after a sick dog. I put Kaylee down for her nap (3 year olds and cleaning poop DO NOT mix LOL) and cleaned cleaned cleaned. I not only did the mess but was just in the zone and kept going taking advantage of the time and mood to just get it all done. Once I finished it was time to get miss mew up. I had to go grocery shopping and felt a little bad about taking her shopping on her big day so I thought I'd make it fun by bringing her shopping cart from home so she could do it like a big girl!!!
She had a blast and thought that was SOOOO fun. Then we went for a nice rollerblade around the park before home for dinner. She got to pick her dinner and cake while we were grocery shopping and dove in hands first forgetting her fork!!! AWESOME day even though I was tired and cranky !!

ahhh a day at the studio :)
My mom came in and spent the night so that means I got to go the studio!!!! NICE I did an awesome cardio workout before breakfast got Kaylee up and headed out the door. I hit the elliptical for one hour of HIT and rocked it out. I saw a timing sheet for HIT on the web so I tried it out and it was really good. I like to switch up my intervals to keep it fresh and when I saw this routine I thought hey I've never done that......
any way it kept me sweating for sure LOL again I was able to crank it up compared to my normal routine. UNREAL
At the studio I actually got there a few mins before and had some extra time and decided to take a few pics before class. They turned out nice but a little blurry. I had a really good class and awesome focus... just all in the zen. There were a few new people in class and it was just a really good energy. Afterwards I ran some errands and then hit home for lunch. Kaylee was so funny when I came home LOL just wild and tired a READY for nap!!! I had to go to the docs in the afternoon and then get some blood work and a prescription filled. I'm nervous because he wants me to take an estrogen pill........ seeing a specialist on the coast but in the meantime I guess all we can do is try it.
That was about my day, just home, dinner and settle in for the night. Had a great talk with hubby too.

Wednesdays and puppies oh my
I started off in the sauna and it was a good one!!! I had turned it up a couple of degrees as an experiment of how the sauna would cycle (not to get it hotter!! but to see if it would change when and how many times the sauna would cycle on) It was great .... until the sauna cycled on for the third time LOL wow that was hot!! I ended up opening the floor vent to cool it off before it got too crazy (I dont want to stress my body out) so it was an awesome class. I had a great focus and intent and my postures were good though a little loose. I had the bendiness in the postures but not as much strength in some of them. After class and breakfast we hit the gym for my cardio and playcare. I had THE most unreal cardio!!! I was strong and could not believe how far I've come and what I can do. A relief as a true sign that I am not overtraining. One of the first signs is muscle soreness and lack of ability to recover. (you stay sore for a long time) increased resting heart rate and you have trouble sleeping... your tense and cranky. Your body is on perma hyperdrive LOL. You dont make gains in your workouts and they become hard to do and YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO THEM !!!!! your tired and drained. I love physically challenging myself but not at the expense of my health and I know how counterproductive overtraining is. So it IS something I always am aware of .... wanting to be challenged but working within my real limits too (this is what will increase those limits in the first place!!)
After my session I did 20mins of vibration training and then Kaylee and I met my mom for lunch and then to spend the day and night together :) We are planning and getting ready for Kaylees B day party. She had to have a puppy party LOL We're dressing her in a puppy costume and got everything dog. The cake is an unreal sculpture of a dog coming out the top of the third layer. I designed it and took it to a special bakery for them to make. We got all the kids headband and on of the craft projects for them is to make puppy ears!! Just too fun we have all kinds of fun and games planned too. We are having it at the playcare centre and all her playcare friends will be there .... too cute and we are all so excited. We had a great time planning and catching up and just being together. talk soon

Tuesday and ????? many days LOL
Another great class and day.I really have no idea where this will all take me not only physically and the number of days but emotionally. I feel like something big is brewing and I'm not sure what. I am raw and just .... a sensitive girl. When I look at everything and try to comprehend it I get very much overwhelmed. How will I do it all??? What is going to happen????? Just thinking about life and how out of control we are how things are never constant and are always changing gives me the willies LOL I start to feel my heart race and get all nervous. It's very hard for me sometimes to let go and just focus on now. I am scared... of life and the unknown. PS I think my hormones are out of wack and I'm going to my doc on Thursday. LOL Yoga can change the way your body runs and does effect your endocrine system I have to keep a close eye on my meds and get checked quite often.
I had a great quiet class and an awesome balancing series. I was in the moment and focused. I'm not sure what else to say about class except that I was raring to go and had a good one. My triangle is coming along and all my poses are feeling natural and cleansing. Eagle is even becoming my friend!

32 days holding strong and wondering where this will go
I had a GREAT class :) I always love my monday yoga because I've had two days off from the sauna and go to the studio where the conditions are much milder. I feel rested and excited to SWEAT LOL I had an awesome balancing series and even eagle was closer to being my friend. Just a great class overall. After class I was home bound waiting for the cable guy so we played downstairs while I rode my elliptical and pounded out my hour HIT session. HMMM still no shaw guy.... I showered got us ready and left a note on the door with my cell number to go play mail man and deliver some of Kaylees B day invites :) that were in walking distance.
Chores lunch nap... still no shaw guy????? I phoned and was expecting a call back about where the tech was but had to leave for an appt. The sitter came and of course Kaylee stomped and cried that I was leaving :( I got back from appt and she gave my the card he left on the door !!!!!!! I guess he came at 430 and they were out for walk LOL Now I have to spend ANOTHER day home bound !!!!
Had a great dinner and playtime with my girl then off to bed and for me a walk on the treadmill while talking to hubby and watching TV. Frustrating and disappointing day having to miss out on seeing my girlfriend who was coming through town :( due tot the shaw guy but there it is.

31 days of yoga and counting
I had a great Sunday and mothers day. I went into Kaylees room to wake her up and she looked up at me and said happy mothers day !!!!!! (we talked about it before going to bed.... how it was a special day for mommy and kaylee) She is just too cute LOL. I slept in and after a leisurely matcha tea and walk on the treadmill I got her up and ready for breakfast and church. She and I both love going because it's a special quiet time for the two of us to snuggle and sing and learn. We always have a great time. After church we headed for our walk around the geese park, then off to meet everyone for a mothers day lunch.
My mom and dad and great aunt were there and it was really nice.
I had been looking REALLY forward to getting our pics taken for mothers day and was very excited. I got us all dressed up and couldn't wait to see how they would turn out. After that we chased each other playing a maze game in walmart and then back home to get ready for yoga and the babysitter. I had been conflicted about going being mothers day and finished my 30days but I had already booked the week before without realizing and did not want to cancel on short notice.
I told Kaylee that I was going to yoga and instant tears started ...... way to tug on the heart strings :( I was so devastated but did not show that until I was out the door. I called my mom and talked to her saying I was ready to turn around LOL I knew she was right in saying that would not be good for Kaylee or fair to the sitter, but I needed to get it off my chest. I got there and called home to see how she was and talked to her. She was OK and I was able to focus enough to do my class. The whole time I was very raw and though it felt really good could not wait to be home with my girl. I was in the car after on my way glad I went and feeling good thinking about the process. I had prayed before class that this time be used for good and that something beneficial would come of it. I had a great class and great time and even better when I walked through the door and got to pick up my girl and give her a big hug!!! Saturday 30 down !!! ..... ? to go
Well I did it !!! 30 days of straight yoga combined with my regular intense workouts and motherhood WHEW. I'm not sure where to go from here and where this will take me but I'm a gonna keep going I think. I had a very weird day and I cant wait to tell you all about it. I did some cardio before breakfast riding my elliptical for an hour. It was good but again I could tell my legs are in need of recovery time (thank goodness it's my day off Sunday!) Then the babysitter came and Kaylee instantly played her ..... I'm crying mommy arms up routine. LOL I went off to yoga and thought about her the whole way and had to call before going into the hot room. She of course was more than fine and stopped the instant I left.
I had a really big process during my class though that really caught me off guard. I was watching my self in the mirror and I saw the scar on my leg. I saw it too the other day at the gym, was impacted, but just passed it. This time I was flashed back. I was thrown into emotions of sadness and grief and loss. It was like the new person I've become and the person I used to be crashed into each other. I was forced to see the person I used I to be and how much I've changed. How different life is now, and everything I've gone through to get here. STRANGE stuff but good.
I came home and they were playing ball I heard her laughing down the hall, she came running with the ball saw me and dropped it arms up 'mommy I was crying ..... LOTS!! ' Too funny that girl of mine. She (thinks) she's got me wrapped around her finger. (OK maybe a little) Any way then it was just lunch and nap ready for mommy and me yoga. I got her up to go to class but... there was no one :( On monday I'm going to talk to the boss about canceling until more sign up. Kaylee and I did some poses and yoga while we were waiting TOO FUN ! I LOVE playing with her. So then we just went off about our day. I am hitting class tomorrow and we will see where this all takes me talk soon.

Friday and the week end is here :)
I had a good day ..... BUSY but good lol. I was in the sauna thinking thinking about everything to get done and how on earth I would fit it all in. The studio was holding a family class I really wanted to bring Kaylee too but I just could not find a way to get all I needed done and still make class. Something had to give and unfortunately it was the family class :( chores and errands and being responsible came first!! I was disappointed but thought Kaylee and I teach yoga on Saturdays and get that time together already. I had a good class in the sauna (though a bit preoccupied) and came out focused and refreshed. I still had not come up with a solution so I just went with the day to see where it would take me. We hit the gym and playcare where I did my cardio for the day. I went on the elliptical for 65 min and hit an endurance med intensity workout. AWESOME I did really enjoy it. Then while there I scratched off two things on my to-do list. (Errands I could do in the area) Took Kaylee home for lunch and then cleaned cleaned cleaned. I needed to get my upstairs weekly stuff done and tidy downstairs. check It was three by the time I was done and knew in my heart at the start of the day we would just not make it to family day at the studio. After we were all done in the house we hit the town to get the rest of our errands done. Then just home for dinner and wind it down for the night.
I hope Kaylee is not getting sick because the last couple of days she has been ubber whiney and tired... just off. I'm hoping its a phase that will pass..... SOON LOL talk soon

She thinks my tractors sexy
Well I definitely had a busy but fun day :) It of course started off with my morning matcha and yoga. I had an awesome class with fluid movement and ease. I did not crazy push myself but just felt good in each pose. Then it was off to playcare and the gym for my power lift day. I did my weights and I do have to say holy cow if I dont say so myself LOL. I POUNDED that out!!! I increased weight in a lot of exercises and even hit a few more before calling it done. I really worked and did it for a full hour (including stretching) when I norm get done in closer to 45. I was panting LOL
I went and got Kaylee to take her to gymnastics but when we got to the van she said she did not want to go..... she wanted to go to the geese park. So we got there strapped on my blades and off we went around the park. She LOVES to go fast in the buggy and we have tons of songs and games we play while blading too :) After lunch I put Kaylee down and hit the lawnmower and picked up the dead cedar leaves on the side. I DO NOT remember the mower being that hard to push and was near tears when I hit the up slope LOL I had my whole body into it and was grunting the whole time cursing Dan knowing he prob put the brakes on or something HEHE I was DONE when I was finished and thankfully it was time for our pedi's !!!

I went and got Kaylee to take her to gymnastics but when we got to the van she said she did not want to go..... she wanted to go to the geese park. wednesdays
I had a great day yesterday. Class was ... WOW. I ran an experiment and poured some water on the rocks when I turned the sauna on to heat up. holy humid batman :) LOL too funny I actually had to open the bottom vent to cool it down near the end of class !!! Any way I had a great class though. I had really strong poses and good focus though I did struggle a bit with eagle. I've been really dreading this pose lately when it used to be one of my favs. I don't like to try in the pose :) I want to take the easy way out. I should do some cold practice and prep to make better friends with it. I came out of class feeling good and recovered well. Then the usual breakfast and gym. I rocked the elliptical but noticed my legs were feeling worked and needing some recovery.
We got home and after lunch was nap and chores (as per norm) I know I lead a pretty boring life LOL When kaylee got up we went for my physio appt, ran a few errands and then volunteered at the ymca playcare. We had a wonderful time and it was not very busy so we got some good quality one on one play time. She LOVES it when I come in to look after the kids too. Every time we go she asks 'mommy play too?' and sometimes I come in and sometimes I go work out. Whenever I tell her 'yes mommys going to play too" she just freaks out excited!! She came running up the ramp to the play care yelling to every one that 'mommy play mommy play mommy play' It was too cute. The other worker opened the gate and Kaylee waited waving me on ' come on mom" :)
