Well I do have a lot to fill you in on as far as my new schedule goes and what the verdict on my new heart rate monitor is!!!! I heated up the sauna and did my class wearing my new toy :) I had a great class with perfect conditions and all was well. Though I did wobble a bit in the balancing series, I still rocked it out. I had an average class as far as intensity goes and according to my heart rate monitor I burned 271 cal (keeping in mind I am half the average persons weight at a resounding 73 lbs) my average heart rate was 118 and max was 163. Then after breakfast we dropped Molson off to get groomed and then hit the gym. I did one hour of mod intensity cardio on the elliptical and the verdict is................. 299 cal average heart rate 144 and max 163. So there you have it yes Bikram yoga is very similar to one hour of a vigorous cardio workout !!!! HMMM sometimes you CAN trust the internet LOL .
After the gym we picked Molson up and came home for lunch nap and chores.... pretty typical day here. We had to go to the doctors and hit the grocery store and just reg stuff. I have a new routine so will keep you posted ( and of the results on my new toy )
